What RecordWork does and doesn't do

Last updated October 20, 2026

What RecordWork does

RecordWork gathers public court reporting jobs, news, events, scholarships, school updates and association updates from about 320 public court, school, association and news websites.

We check these websites about once an hour. Every item links to its original source. RecordWork is free to use, and you do not need an account.

What it doesn't do

We do not guarantee that a job is still open or that details are current. Always confirm details at the original source.

We do not read private Facebook groups or member-only boards.

We do not verify every claim in visitor job posts or "Find a reporter" listings. We review them before they appear.

We do not sell your information or use advertising trackers. Sponsor spots never change rankings.

About the assistant

RecordWork has a built-in AI assistant. It sorts news headlines and answers chat questions. It only points to listings already on RecordWork, and it can make mistakes.

Known gaps

Some states' court news pages cannot be read automatically yet: Kentucky, Oregon, New Hampshire, Michigan, Louisiana and Tennessee.

Some sites block automated checks, so their updates can arrive late. Email updates are being switched on. Coverage is broad but not complete.
